Stacy Spencer

Lead Consultant

As a fourth-generation resident who grew up in the town of Eatonville, Florida, being on the Board of Directors for Heritage Educational Hub, Inc. holds a very special place for Stacy Spencer.

Her passion for education began in 2007 at Hungerford Elementary School as a Physical Education Paraprofessional for OCPS. During this time, she served as the Safe Routes to School Coordinator and wrote her first proposal for a $4,800 grant for traffic upgrades for Hungerford Elementary School in the historic town of Eatonville.

In 2010, she embarked on a new journey at Rollins College where she began her profession in the college readiness/access programs with federally funded TRIO Programs.

With over 10 years of experience, Stacy Spencer has been able to expand her areas of expertise by co-writing and overseeing over $5,000,000 in grant funding to help first generation and limited in-come students.

As the Senior Program Director of College Access for the Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement at The Florida State University, she takes pride in serving on the leadership team assisting in the development of academic strategies to provide high quality academic services for students who come from limited income families and who will be the first generation college students in their family.

Her leadership in the Central Florida community in efforts to bridge the gap of post-secondary education is evident. She serves as the National Planning Chair for the Orlando National College Fair and has served in this role for the past 7 years with the National Association of College Admissions for Counseling (NACAC).

She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and has formerly served as a youth advisor with her sororities’ youth programs.
