As a former fourth-generation resident of Eatonville, Florida, Stacy Spencer holds a deep personal connection as a Lead Consultant, and as a part of the Board of Directors for Heritage Educational Hub, Inc.
Her commitment to education began in 2007 at Hungerford Elementary School, where she worked as a Physical Education Paraprofessional for Orange County Public Schools. During that time, she also served as the Safe Routes to School Coordinator, securing her first grant—$4,800—for traffic safety improvements at the historic school in Eatonville.
In 2010, Stacy transitioned to higher education, launching her career in college access and readiness at Rollins College through the federally funded TRIO Programs.
With over a decade of experience, Stacy has co-authored and managed more than $5 million in grant funding to support first-generation and low-income students in their pursuit of higher education.
Currently, she serves as the Senior Program Director of College Access for the Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement at Florida State University. In this role, she plays a key part on the leadership team, shaping academic strategies and delivering impactful support services to students from underrepresented backgrounds.
Stacy’s leadership and advocacy extend beyond campus. She has been a driving force in expanding college access throughout Central Florida, serving for the past eight years as the National Planning Chair for the Orlando National College Fair, under the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
