Sheena Spencer

Sheena Spencer is the Founder and Lead Consultant of Imagine U Educational Consulting, LLC. She was raised in the historic Town of Eatonville, Florida, being the fourth generation in her family to grow up in the notable town.

She attended Edgewater High School, and as a high school student, her aspiration for what she wanted to become when she grew up was an English teacher or an Upward Bound Program leader because she was passionate about education and opportunities for advancement for her community. She became both.

Afterwards, she got a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Converse University, and a Masters of Arts degree in Education from Rollins College. As a former administrator for the Rollins College Upward Bound Program, she has led over 100 students to be the first generation in their family to attend and graduate from college. For this labor, she has been recognized by both Converse University and Rollins College through their alumni magazines for her contribution for preparing teens for college through the Upward Bound program.

Sheena passed over the reins of leading the Upward Bound program in order to pursue the greater need of closing the achievement gap in education, as an elementary classroom teacher with Orange County Public Schools. With membership into organizations such as the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC), Sheena stays abreast of the modern trends in higher education in order to continue her civic passion of working in the community to help teens navigate their way to college.

Sheena is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where she has also led in college readiness programs, as well as numerous community presentations.

Through Imagine U Educational Consulting, LLC, she hopes to bring her track record of success to broaden college readiness services to families in the Central Florida region.
